SHORT TEACHING STATEMENT
As a multi-disciplinary artist and educator, I emphasize collaborative, student-centered learning. My teaching fosters a space where both students and instructors learn together, encouraging diverse perspectives and creative agency. I believe learning should be an evolving process, allowing students to explore their individuality while engaging critically with materials and concepts. My approach integrates mentorship, feedback, and social engagement, supporting students’ growth as thinkers and makers. I aim to guide students in understanding that art and design require planning with, not for, an aesthetic sensibility, and that their unique identities contribute to shaping their creative practice and future success.
